Course Description
- The course covers a wide range of fundamental electrical and electronic topics, leading to more in-depth studies of power systems such as generation, transmission, and protection, as well as power electronics, electromechanical systems, industrial control, and renewable energy
- The curriculum focuses on the development of knowledge and skills important to professional engineering practice, and it incorporates significant components of practical problem solving, teamwork, and project creation, in addition to a solid academic foundation
- As a result, graduates will obtain strong analytical abilities as well as the capacity to lead complicated projects, in addition to possessing diverse technical and transferrable skill competencies
- The first year of this course consists of eight components that are shared by all engineering honours programs
