  • The Master of Health Management develops students' knowledge across the broad scope of health

  • Students may choose to complete a specialization in emergency and disaster management, health law, health policy and planning, quality and patient safety, or a cross-specialization
  • The program is designed to meet the accreditation requirements of The Australasian College of Health Service Managers (ACHSM) and The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA)

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

2-year program:

  • A completed recognized bachelor's degree (or higher) with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4 (on QUT's 7 point scale) in any discipline

1.5-year program:

  • A completed recognized bachelor degree (or higher award) in health, business, or law with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale) or in any other discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale) and with at least 3 years (full-time or equivalent) experience working in health management at a middle to senior level. Middle- to senior-level experience is defined as experience in a supervisory or leadership role (e.g. with responsibility for decision making, teamwork, quality assurance, and/or policy development
