Course Description

  • The Master of Professional Engineering offers an accredited qualification that will enable students to practise in Australia and overseas

  • In the geomechanical specialisation students will learn to examine soil and rock layers and determine their physical and chemical properties to design foundations and earthworks structures

  • This degree will also help students develop the sound communication, management and decision-making capabilities needed to interpret and discuss complex issues in their area of specialisation

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements
  • An Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 65 percent average, or equivalent qualification or

  • An Australian bachelor's degree in a non-Engineering discipline with a 65 percent average, with studies equivalent to 48 credit points (equivalent to 1 year full time study load) in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, computing or statistics, as related to the stream sought for admission

Additional Requirements
  • Proof of English language proficiency score

  • Students will need to provide an academic transcript that shows that they have completed their secondary studies

  • Scholarships documentation
