Course Description
- The collaborative specialization is the focal point for graduate teaching and research in toxicology
- Students wishing to undertake graduate studies at the masters or doctoral level with emphasis on toxicology will be admitted by a participating department and will register in both the participating program and in the collaborative specialization
- Students will develop valuable skills in the analytical toxicology, molecular biology
- Students will also develop valuable skills in medical toxicology and physiology laboratories (with instruments used in modern analytical, forensic and toxicology labs)
- Students can work with faculty members within ten separate departments and undertake research in areas such as: role of oxidative stress in Alzheimer disease, DNA damage by chemical carcinogens
