<ul><li>Defined by its integrative approach for studying health, UOttawa’s Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences program allows students to discover innovative ways to examine, measure, and unravel complex health problems at all life stages, in Canada, and around the world</li><li>This course provides students with a foundational biosciences core, research analytical skills training in a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies within a broader interdisciplinary context of the social and environmental determinants of health</li><li>The curriculum contains a research methodologies core to provide students with applied, quantitative, and qualitative transferrable skills for post-graduate training or employment</li><li>This program also includes select opportunities to conduct a research thesis project and participate in interdisciplinary health sciences fieldwork</li><li>Graduates of this program will be well-prepared to undertake health-related MSc programs or pursue careers in public or private health agencies, non-governmental health organizations, or in community health programs<br></li></ul>

<ul><li>One of UOttawa’s reputed programs, the Master of Science Nursing (MScN) aims to educate enrolled nurses for an advanced practice role and/or doctoral studies</li><li>The program provides rigorous academic preparation based on theory and research to address health-related phenomena experienced by individuals, families, groups, aggregates, and communities</li><li>This program also offers the opportunity to complete additional qualifications notably a Diploma in Primary Health Care for Nurse Practitioners</li><li>The curriculum consists of courses such as Research Methods in Nursing, Statistical Analysis in Nursing, Advanced Nursing Practice in Health Care, Advanced Health Assessment and Diagnosis, and Integrative Practicum</li><li>In accordance with the University of Ottawa regulation, students have the right to complete their assignments, examinations, research papers, and theses in French or English<br></li></ul>

<ul><li>A demanding UOttawa program, the Master of Science (MSc) Neuroscience aims to help students develop their theoretical knowledge as well as their capacity for critical analysis</li><li>Graduates of the program will acquire autonomy in conducting research and in preparing scholarly publications and grant applications</li><li>In accordance with the University of Ottawa regulation, students have the right to complete their assignments, examinations, research papers, and theses in French or English. Research activities can be conducted either in English, French, or both, depending on the language used by the professor and the members of his or her research group</li><li>The curriculum consists of courses including Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, Systems Neuroscience, Molecular Psychiatry, Molecular Biology of the Neuron, and Mechanisms of Neurological Disease</li><li>This program is governed by the general regulations in effect for graduate studies<br></li></ul>
