Course Description

  • ​This program will provide students with the knowledge and skills to work as a global software engineer or as an application developer, able to develop as needed in an ever-changing global industry
  • On graduation, students will be qualified to work in the international IT industry in a wide range of computer roles. Students will have a strong foundation in such areas as Internet development, cloud computing, mobile software, enterprise systems, artificial intelligence and games technology
  • Students will learn IT skills early on that are required in the international IT industry, including core software design and development skills as well as highly sought-after international skills such as global citizenship, software localisation, entrepreneurship, and creating webinars
  • In Year 3, students can undertake an International Industrial Placement in an IT company. In addition, all Year 3 students participate in the Global Classroom, a virtual, online classroom comprised of teams of international students on exchange at international university partners
  • In the final year, students can specialise in a variety of areas such as Enterprise Systems Development, Applied Intelligence or Digital Games Development & Simulation

TUD Minimum GCSE and GCE A Level Requirements:

Applicants are scored on the basis of a maximum of four different subject results at A and/or AS level. For scoring purposes, the following combination of A Levels and AS Levels are permitted:

  • The best 4 A Level results in a single sitting
  • The best 3 A Level results in a single sitting, plus the best AS Level result from the previous or the same sitting
  • The best 2 A Level subject results in a single sitting, plus the best 2 results at AS Level from the previous or the same sitting
  • The best 1 A Level subject result in a single sitting, plus the best 3 results at AS Level from the previous or the same sitting
  • The best 4 AS Level subject results in a single sitting
