Course Description

• Students will study both mainstream and emergent software development, implementation, and evolution - from design and analysis to human interaction concepts and system assessment - throughout the course
• Students will receive practical experience with object-oriented programming and software development at the start of the course, as well as a knowledge of how software systems are utilized in organizations and approaches for creating efficient user interfaces
• Students are then taught important software engineering approaches utilized in industry, while also improving their knowledge of databases and operating systems
• Later years of the course concentrate on critical industry skills such as project management, safe software development, and ways that ease software evolution
• Students will also receive knowledge and expertise in new fields such as artificial intelligence and software engineering for safety-critical systems
