Course Description

• Hull's MA in History mixes topical modules to prepare students to participate in historical debates outside of their specific field of study
• Students will learn to 'ask better questions' that matter just as much to a medievalist as they do to a modern historian by broadening their analytical lens beyond what they would have been expected to accomplish at the undergraduate level
• Hull History Centre has a wealth of archival material, and its Maritime Historical Studies Centre is a world-renowned maritime history study center
• Students may develop their own interests and abilities with the great resources available at the University of Hull, as well as in the city and surrounding region
• Students on Hull's MA History degree frequently pursue doctorate study at Hull or another higher education institution, while those who utilize their level 7 certificate as a stepping stone to a career frequently work in commercial research, teaching, management, law, or the Civil Service​
