Course Description

• This unique new curriculum integrates teaching, research, and practical experiences that are linked by four ideas: culture, criminology, creativity, and community
• Students undertaking the MA in Incarceration Studies will be linked with the University of Hull's Cultures of Incarceration Centre, which offers chances to attend presentations, present at seminars, and network
• This course mixes typical seminar-style sessions with innovative experiences outside of the classroom, such as working with ex-offenders in the community or organizing an academic conference on campus
• Through this degree, students will be able to investigate incarceration in a variety of contexts, including the UK, the US, and other countries across the world, much beyond the typical prison setting
• Students will gain a variety of knowledge and skills as a result of the multidisciplinary character of this degree, which will help them stand out in the job market​
