Course Description
- The purpose of this postgraduate program is to produce highly sought-after researchers who are prepared to utilize their advanced knowledge and practical skills in the industry or in future study
- Students will learn how to gather, analyze, and understand social data, as well as interviewing tactics, surveys, problem-solving, communication skills, and the most up-to-date industry tools
- The degree was created with consultation from industry professionals, past students, and renowned academics to ensure that it fits the expectations of the current social research sector
- During the program, students will conduct real-world research, such as assessing local health care facilities, forecasting voting behavior during elections, or investigating the impact of Hull's year as the 2017 UK City of Culture on local residents
- Wherever feasible, students will get high-quality academic assistance throughout the program, and all modules will be taught on a single day (currently Thursdays) to suit part-time and working students

A minimum 2:2 Bachelor Honours (or international equivalent) in “Computer Science” or “Software Engineering” with at least 40 credits (or equivalent) of a high-level objected oriented programming language such as Java, C++ or C#
