Course Description

• A three-year Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts is available through the Department of Art
  
• Drawing, installation, multidisciplinary studio, new genres, painting, photography, printing, sculpture, social practice, video, and other media are encouraged
  
• Advanced studio methods, art history, theory, and criticism are all emphasized in the course work
  
• The Visiting Artist Program is currently linked to Prospect New Orleans, providing the department with direct access to a diverse spectrum of globally renowned artists and researchers
  
• The curriculum concludes in a body of work display, a written thesis supporting the work, and an oral defence of both
