Course Description

• The University of New Orleans (UNO) has built on decades of expertise in cybersecurity teaching and research to create a globally acclaimed academic program that offers an M.S. in Cyber Security and Operations
  
• The curriculum's purpose is to connect educational results with the NIST's NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, which was designed as a national standard for the cybersecurity workforce
  
• The framework defines categories, specialist areas, job responsibilities, knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs), tasks, and competencies as they pertain to cybersecurity work
  
• As a result, alumni will be demonstrably competent to fill cybersecurity-related employment in the workforce upon graduation
  
• The master's degree will need at least 30 credit hours and will provide both thesis and non-thesis alternatives
