- The technical Master of Information Technology in Cyber Security provides up-to-date knowledge and practical training for a successful career in the burgeoning field of cybersecurity, which is facing a global shortage of skilled professionals
- Completing this degree will arm students with technical skills in cryptography, networks, artificial intelligence, and mobile data communications
- The course has been designed as an advanced course in the technical aspects of Cyber Security for students with a Bachelor Degree in IT
- This course allows students to gain experience working on real Cyber Security projects and, for appropriate students, direct exposure to industry problems and practices
- The course is completed with a two-unit (20cp) capstone project that can be either an industry placement (internship) or an internal research project

- AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, and a minimum of two years relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
