Course Description
- The Master of Museum and Heritage Studies at ANU provides the unique opportunity to articulate with the Indiana University to complete a double degree with the Master of Arts – Arts Administration
- The double degree aims to prepare students for an innovative career in both Museum Curatorial practice (ANU) and Arts Administration (IU)
- Students will learn traditional curatorship and collections management, while also being introduced to new areas impacting on national and international cultural policy such as:
Social inclusion
Citizenship and community engagement
Social activism and museums
Indigenous curation and collection
Innovative visitor and audience studies - Students will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to become an effective arts advocate and leader of change
- Students will be introduced to a range of core skills in the areas of business, marketing, policy and management, as well as a thorough understanding of the arts sector

Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
A cognate Bachelor degree or international equivalent with an average mark of at least 65%, or completion of 30 SPEA credits towards the Master of Arts – Arts Administration as listed in the award rules for this degree
Additional Requirements

- Students will need to provide an academic transcript that shows that they have completed their secondary studies
- If official qualification documents related to an Application for Admission are not in English, the applicant must supply the following documents (scan and attach to application):
The original language transcript of studies showing subjects and results
The original language award certificate

A copy of the grading scale
