Course Description
- The Bachelor of Dental Science program educates the next generation of dental professionals at the Oral Health Centre, a $138 million state-of-the-art tertiary oral health facility in Australia
- Students will commence learning in a simulated environment from their first semester and develop knowledge that provides the clinical and biomedical foundations relevant to dentistry
- The final year of study provides a clinical experience that may be undertaken in Government and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community health service clinics
- Honours will be awarded to all graduates of this program
- This program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they require to become competent practitioners of dentistry. These include the application of scientific principles to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases and abnormalities
