Course Description
- The Master of Counselling program will provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in professional counselling
- It is accredited with both major professional associations, the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)
- The program involves completing 32 units comprising:
- 16 units from MCouns Year 1 Courses, and
- 16 units from MCouns Year 2 Courses
- The program adopts an integrative theoretical and practical focus which incorporates many areas from person-centered to brain-based approaches
- Students will develop knowledge, skills, and competencies for professional practice in counseling and be able to competently support individuals, couples, families, and groups in the community
