Brandon University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program is intended for students seeking professional preparation in the visual arts
Students have the opportunity to choose from five four-year Majors in Aboriginal Art, Painting, Ceramics, Drawing, or Digital Media and Design
In this professional program, students will complete a 120 credit, four-year degree of which a minimum of 90 credit hours are in Visual and Aboriginal Art Studies
This course addresses career preparation, marketing, and small business management as required areas of academic study to continue as professional practicing artists
The detailed course provides a window into emerging hybrid art forms developed through traditional fine arts media and digital technology

Academic Requirements

International Baccalaureate:
- An overall score of 24 points
- The IB Diploma must contain at least three Higher Level courses, with the remaining courses being at either the Higher Level or the Standard Level
- A minimum score of 4 is required on each Higher Level IB course to be considered for possible transfer of credit
GCE:
- Must have passes in five different subjects of which at least two subjects must be passed at the Advanced level;
  OR
- Passes in four different subjects of which at least three subjects must be passed at the Advanced level
