Course Description
- When students choose to study Accounting at Brescia, they will learn to effectively capture, process and interpret financial information and organize it in a way that is productive to decision-makers
- Students will gain communications skills needed to defend finance recommendations or understand how taxes affect personal and business decisions – in Brescia’s Accounting program, they decide
- Under the guidance of students accomplished professors, they will learn problem-solving, leadership and communication skills through a variety of dynamic courses, including Management Accounting, Business Communications and Advanced Accounting
- Student's Accounting experience at Brescia will reach far beyond campus. Outside the classroom, their professors will encourage and guide them to begin their professional development as future Accountants
- Students will have the opportunity to participate in: the Community Income Tax Volunteer Programs, Chartered Professional Accountant Post-Secondary Ambassador Programs and Brescia’s Industry Internship Program. These experiences will give students access to networking, conferences and mentorship opportunities within the community and support their journey beyond Brescia
