Course Description
- Students will learn how to recognize, analyse, and apply important theoretical traditions in communication studies, as well as evaluate and explain the evolution of communication mediums, practices, and industries
- In the program, students will learn critical approaches to media, communication and culture together with applied skills in writing, editing and public speaking
- Pupils will have the ability to analyse the viewpoints from which various stakeholders participate in communication and manage risk and crisis communication
- Communication law and policy, event planning, advocacy communication, political communication, and social media will all be covered in the course
- Graduates will be able to demonstrate critical media literacy as both communicators and consumers of information, as well as use fundamental research methodologies for communication and media studies projects
