Course Description

  • The General Arts program provides a multidisciplinary education that allows students the freedom to explore their interests and easily move from the General Arts program into a specific major at any point
  • This program has fifteen departments from which students can choose courses, including Criminology, English, History, Indigenous Learning, Interdisciplinary Studies, Languages, Media Studies, Music, Northern Studies, Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Visual Arts, and Women's Studies
  • These disciplines will boost students’ creativity, sharpen their communication skills, improve their ability to think critically, and provide them with a wide range of knowledge that can be applied to many industries post-graduation

Academic Requirements
  • Applicants must have completed the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, with marks equivalent to 70% from the Canadian board
