The General Science program provides a multidisciplinary education that allows students the freedom to explore their interests and easily move from the General Arts program into a specific major at any point
This program has 10 departments for students to choose courses from including Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Mathematical Sciences, Geology, Sustainability Sciences, and Physics
Students are also able to take courses in Environmental Studies, Applied Life Sciences, Environmental Science, and Water Resource Sciences
General Science students will have many opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research on various topics including condensed matter, behavioral ecology, quantum-chemical exploration, and DNA forensics
This hands-on approach to learning and well-rounded lab experience prepares students for success in any field, professional position, or postgraduate training

Academic Requirements

Applicants must have completed the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, with marks equivalent to 70% from the Canadian board
Subjects required: English, 2 from Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Space Science, Math, or Physics

English Language requirement can be waived for applicants who can verify having recently studied in an English language school system for more than three (3) full years of full-time study by providing proof of English language proficiency
