<ul><li>The Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography offers an extensive range of undergraduate physics courses, minors, majors and honours in Physics, Environmental Physics, and other joint degree programs</li><li>Many undergraduates participate actively in physics research programs, gaining experience that gives both summer work and great preparation for a future in industry or academic research</li><li>In order to declare the Physics major, students must complete 30 credit hours (10 courses)</li><li>Physics majors and honours students have the option to complete a minor in applied science (process engineering) through the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science</li><li>A bachelor of science degree, with a major in physics, prepares students for a variety of careers including: Medical imaging technician Meteorologist Teacher Technical consulting Financial analyst Radiology and radiation safety </li></ul>

With at least a band 6 in reading and writing


With a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking
