Overview

Royal Roads University is a public university in Colwood, British Columbia. The classic architecture and charm of this university thrive within the Hatley Park National Historic Site of Vancouver Island. The university started its journey in 1995. Back then, it began with a focus on applied and professional degree-granting. And since then, over 20,000 students have graduated from this academia. They are now working in over 60 countries around the world.

This institution currently has 25,000 students, including international students from around the globe. Students can access student support services through the university. Admissions, enrolment, accessibility, and computer services are available to them. They can also avail counselling, learning strategy support, career support and learning development. Royal Roads University is a relatively young school. It celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020. Even so, EduRank and UniRank consider it as one of the top 75 universities in Canada. Student services support is available for new and current students. This institute offers over 80 programs. They result in certificates, diplomas, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.  General studies are available for students to take credit-based courses without a credential. Students can also opt for non-credit programs and courses for professional and continuing education. Two faculties teach specific schools of study. They are:

The university has a 565-acre main campus. The campus does not provide housing for its students on a long-term basis. A residence is available for short-term stays. But the attraction of the campus is the historic Hatley Castle. It has appeared on X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, Arrow, Deadpool, Smallville, and The Professor. The Castle houses the Royal Roads University Museum. This university's library holds a large collection of printed and digital resources.
