Course Description

  • ​Comparative Cultural Studies invites students to pursue the study of cultural expressions
  • This program draws its subject matter and its approaches from a range of areas: literary studies, languages, cultural studies, media and film studies, art history, music studies, etc.
  • Students can learn about culture(s) and arts across time and geographic regions, in a wide variety of contexts and representations
  • Students will have career as International Organizations (such as the United Nations), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Foreign Service, Intercultural Social Work, Teaching Abroad and Settlement work with refugees and immigrants
  • The focus of the Comparative Cultural Studies (CCS) program is international and comparative
