- UNBC’s Bachelor of Science (BSc) Biology program is a broadly based undergraduate program that allows students to explore various biological concepts from the level of the cell to the organism, to the ecosystem
- Students gain practical knowledge through UNBC’s many on-campus, hands-on labs and by attending various local and international field schools
- This course offers students the flexibility to pursue a specialization in Field Biology and Natural History, Applied Ecology, Ecology and Evolution, Zoology, Botany and Mycology, or Cell Biology and Genetics
- Students have the opportunity to undertake co-op or study abroad programs and faculty-supervised research
- Graduates of this program find various career paths and become environmental consultants, conservation biologists, physicians, veterinarians, medical lab technologists, high school science teachers, environmental lawyers, and research scientists
