The University of the Fraser Valley is a public university based in British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1974, this university formerly went by the names of University College of the Fraser Valley and Fraser Valley College. In 1988, it became a university college with degree-granting power. It was one of the largest university colleges in Canada. The institute earned full university status on 21 April 2008. Now, many people refer to it as UFV.

15,676 students currently grace the halls of UFV with the aim of receiving holistic education. 15% of the total student population is international students who contribute to the diversity by representing 49 countries. Students can choose from:

  • 19 bachelor degree programs, with majors, minors, and extended minors in more than 35 program areas

The University of Fraser Valley operates five campuses in total with one in India and the remaining in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Agassiz. UFV’s main campus in Abbotsford houses its only residence hall. Aside from accommodation, students can access a library, office spaces, a cafeteria, a bookstore, and sports and student centers. They can also find a dental clinic, nursing station, theatre, and performance lab on-campus. Students at this university can access the following services as well:
