This is an exciting new Masters program designed for people from varied backgrounds who want to develop their innovation, design, management, and leadership skills
The program was developed by a cross-disciplinary team in GMIT, using expertise from Engineering, Design and Creative Arts, and Business led by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
The Masters is delivered using a blended learning approach and is 100% project-based, with no exams
Expertise developed through the program will enhance the student’s career in a variety of industries ranging from technology and agri-food to design, medtech, manufacturing, the service industry, and the public sector
This program will help students upskill for leadership roles in design and innovation, enhance their organisation’s capacity to innovate in products, services and processes, futureproof the student’s career and organisation, and much more

Academic Requirements

H 2.2 Level 8 degree in Engineering, Design, Science, Business, Computer Science or related disciplines
Candidates with experience in the area will be considered for entry using RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)
