Course Description

• The MSc in Nursing is constructed within the context of health, nursing and educational policy developments
  
  
• The above are congruent with the health-based strategies of the Department of Health, with the professional based strategies of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, the previous National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery, and the educational based strategies of Quality and Qualification Ireland
  
  
• The program facilitates professional planning and leadership for participants within clinical practice, management, research and/or education
  
  
• The aim of this MSc in Nursing is to develop postgraduates with an advanced level of theoretical knowledge, leadership and research skills in nursing. These skills will enable learners to become leaders in their designated fields of healthcare
  
  
• Delivery of the program includes a blend of online keynote lectures, learner-led seminars, self-directed independent learning, workshop, tutorials and interactive learning. Nurse participants will learn with, from and about other professionals through shared modules
