Course Description

• ​The BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering is a full-time, four year, honours degree course of study that can be chosen within the Engineering Common Entry Route
  
• This course is recognised by Engineers Ireland (EI) and prepares students for employment in the electronics industry
• The program includes an industrial placement program for students. The placement occurs in an electronics company from mid-February to mid-August in year 3, semester 6
• Prior to going on placement, there is an intensive course on Health & Safety, Resource Management and Ethics in Engineering
• Graduates of BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering may find employment in the following areas: Electronics Design, Control Engineering, Research & Development, Test and Measurement, Technical Support, Electronic Sales
