Overview

​Located in Wales, Cardiff University is one of the most renowned universities in the UK. Established in 1883, it earned university status in 2005. It has three colleges and 26 academic schools.
Cardiff offers more than 500 courses on various subjects including Business, Media and Communication, History and Archeology, Law and Politics, Modern Languages, Psychology, Medicine, Architecture, Computer Science, Earth and Ocean Sciences and more. Over 33,000 students attend this institution every year. Among them, more than 8,500 students come from 130 countries. The school employs more than 5,700 staff members.
There are 17 university-managed halls for students of all programs. The halls have both self-catered and part-catered facilities. Many kinds of rooms including en-suite, shared, and studio rooms are available.

Cardiff accepts scores from several English skills tests. IELTS and PTE are the most notable among them. All test scores are valid for two years.
