Course Description

• Nottingham’s Business Management and Economics course will provide students with an introduction to economic theory within a business and management context

• This course will train students to think like an economist right from day one

• Students will develop their knowledge on the ideas and methods used by economists to support successful business and management

• The approach to engaging with the business world will give students a distinctive perspective on decision making, a skill that is in demand by many employers. All students will participate in a business simulation task, imitating the experience of running a business with a group of fellow students

• During their second year, students have various unique opportunities to get involved, such as studying abroad, enterprise projects, an internship, or simply continuing with their studies
