Established in 1495, the University of Aberdeen is the third-oldest institution in Scotland. It is also the fifth-oldest in the English-speaking world. Three colleges offer over 600 courses.
Over 15,000 students attend this university. More than 4,500 students come from 130 countries around the world. International students make up 30% of its student body.
