Course Description
- This program covers the core concepts, practices, and techniques in economics, where students will gain analytical, quantitative, computing, presentation, and other transferable skills
- Students will develop a deep understanding of the factors that influence income, wealth, and wellbeing, how scarce resources are allocated, distributed, and utilized today, and how they may change in the future
- A range of optional modules will provide students with the opportunity to explore specialist areas such as business economics, behavioral economics, monetary policy, international trade, and health or transport economics
- Students will gain in-depth knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics and build their mathematical, data analysis, and research skills
