Course Description

• ​This program will unlock opportunities for students in a wide range of careers, including research, industry, healthcare, environment, and forensics
  
• Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the nature, transmission, and expression of genetic information in living organisms
• Core introductory modules will be delivered through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, allowing students to develop the research skills that will be necessary throughout their career 
•  Students will gain an insight into the applications of genetic techniques in fields as diverse as genetic engineering, developmental biology, biotechnology, diagnostics and therapies for human diseases, and conservation biology
• Graduates will be prepared for a wide range of opportunities in scientific and non-scientific careers
