Overview

The University of Liverpool is one of the most renowned institutions in the UK. Established in 1881 as a college, it earned university status in 1903. In 2006, it entered a partnership to create an independent university in China.
Liverpool has three faculties with 35 schools and departments. It offers more than 450 courses in all programs. Even with one campus, it has a student population of over 29,000. More than 7,700 students are international. It employs around 6,000 staff members in total.
More than 4,500 rooms are available in 14 university-managed halls. 71 halls are available for private accommodation as well. Liverpool offers seven on-campus halls to students of all programs.
